Secretary’s Report
April 2007 minutes were
distributed. It was moved and seconded
to approve the minutes.
Treasurer’s Report:
Don Loomis reported that we
had a balance of $4,354.98 as of
Membership Chairman’s Report:
Karl Busch reported 96
official members.
Timing and Scoring
Dave Lehrshall
reported the #s on the cars is helping as is the advance registration
enforcement. He is now able to “clean
up” registrations and records. Trophies
will be given out at the driver’s meeting to “catch up”.
Solo Chairman’s Report:
1. We will automatically
plan on 6 runs for every event. We need
to buy 2 more radios and 1 more fire extinguisher.
2. Thank-you for the better
flow at tech and registration.
3. Karts and workers must be
on time.
4. We will use cones to
better manage the ball players ingress and egress at
the gates.
5. The same rules will apply
this year as last year to earn the PAX championship points this year because we
failed to post the desired changes this year in a timely fashion.
6. We voted to purchase a Stihl blower for cleaning the course. Estimated to be $400 plus gas can, 2 cycle
oil, and ear protection plus tax.
Club Racing Chairman’s Report:
Richard Dziak
reiterated the difficult year due to a multitude of problems including loss of
facilities and rising expenses for entry fees, gas, hotels, and long commutes. There seems to be a separation or “disconnect”
between regions and national. Luis
reiterated the $500 commitment from PANAM to support the

2. We decided to call the
charity rally the “Carrera Panamericana
Road Rally set for July 8th.
It will be a TSD rally.
3. We will invite car clubs
to join in with up to “X” cars for a flat fee.
4. We may need additional
clocks.
5. There will be a novice
class the day of the event.
6. Cameras for the TV
stations will be allowed in the cars.
7. Mike will contact other
clubs.
8. Luis will contact the
media.
9. We need to order a 2007
road rally rule book.
