Minutes of the August 6, 2007 Meeting

The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2007

Secretary’s Report

June and July minutes were presented and approved with one typo noted.

More timely minutes to be electronically sent out for early approval prior to next meeting.

Waivers files for 2007 organized now in accordion folder.

Will post poster boards w/ info on trailer at events.

Treasurer’s Report:

Don Loomis reported that we had a balance of $2,392.26 as of July 31^st.

Membership Chairman’s Report:

We have 95 official members.

Timing and Scoring

Axrats box works now! Display still has issues.

Late entries still a problem: email confirmation system to be checked by John

Enforcement of letters & numbers standards is important (very helpful).

Phil has generously donated a laser printer.

FRIDAY 8:00 PM prior to an event is the REGISTERATION CUTOFF

Solo Chairman’s Report:

August 19^th Luis may not be here.

Good to see new people should email thank yous for coming.

Sept 9^th SOLO will probably move to 16^th – will post on web.

Luis looking for any contributions to the PAR Racing Memories section

ie: racing experiences, old Fog Lamps issues, PanAm history, photos etc.

Roswell, NM possible site for a divisional race at the truck training area at the airbase.

Mike Downey will draft a nominating committee for board nominations. Any volunteers?? The club really needs active membership help!! Many hands make light the load.

Club Racing Chairman’s Report:

Truth or Consequences is building a race facility!
